Diploma Program Overview
This programme is designed to produced the “Masters” for Jewellery Design. The candidates completing this very programme shall be able to make master patterns manually as well as using CAD/CAM technology. Jewellery designing (Manual & CAD Based both) is part of this programme.

What You Learn
What is design?, Designing concepts, drawing & designing, Basics of different kinds of stones, Illustration of metals and stones with proportion in colour for realistic effects, ways to draw and paint your own design, Designing of various jewellery e.g rings, bangles, earrings etc., Details and different in Men’s and women’s jewellery designs.
Technical drawing concepts, Computer fundamentals, Computer-aided Jewellery designing using either Jewel CAD or I-Deas or Rhinos, 3-D Jewellery design, modeling & rendering of designs. Exporting for CNC machine.
Theoretical aspect of Metals, Melting of Gold, karat System, Purity analysis od gold Cutting, Filing, Soldering, model for Prong, Bezel etc. Making of Rings, Pendants or Replica units.
Rapid Prototyping of CAD based designs on CAM machines.

This programme is designed to produced the “Masters” for Jewellery Mnufacturing. The candidates completing this very programme shall be able to make master patterns manually as well as using CAD/CAM technology. Jewellery designing (Manual), Jewellery Casting, Jewellery Making, Stone Setting, Gold Alloying & Melting, Gold Assaying, Quality Control is part of this programme.
