Program Overview
Person willing to enter into diamond business must have a thorough knowledge of grading with international standards. This programme would be more useful for the entrepreneurs already in diamond business. By undertaking this programme one can enhance his/ her grading skill by comparing the result with the system result. Participants are exposed to various computerized/automated grading equipments Highly useful those seeking job, in field, abroad.

1-6 weeks Diamond Grading

What You Learn
Gauging of Polished Diamonds, Color Grading using natural Master Stone Set (GIA), Clarity Grading using Microscope & microscope study, Estimation of proportion parameter with 10X & confirmation of estmation by measurement with Sarin, polish & symmetry of polished diamonds. Introduction to Heart & Arrows, Identification of Moissanite, Practice exclusively on diamond granted by IDI.
Above 0.18 ct. polished diamond are covered under this programme.
Advanced technology used for Diamond identification.
Valuation as per international market.

This Programmes has been designed specially for those who are engaged in the diamond industry since long, but desirous to know about computerized diamond planning for higher yield recovery.

DM-203 – DIAMOND BRUTING
Programmes Overview
Bruting is the first stage in shaping the rough. The bruter shapes the rough diamond into a circular outline by removing the misformed edges from the stone. This is one of the most important phases of diamond processing. A large number of persons is engaged in bruting operations in the Indian Diamond Industry. At the end of the programme, each student is expected to acquire good skills in bruting of makeable/sawn diamonds.
