IDI had successfully completed its Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Centre of Jewellery Design & Manufacture project (SVJDM) under ASIDE Scheme in the year 2003.

And Now, IDI Established IDI-CITY CENTRE Duly Approved By Govt. of India & Govt. of Gujarat Under ASIDE Scheme. Which was inaugurated in the year 2011

“Anchor Institute” for Gems & Jewellery Sector, Promoted by Industries Commissionerate, Government of Gujarat.

As a Project Management Consultant (PMC) for setting up of CFC’s Phase-I for Diamond Industry in Gujarat, institute had completed the assigned work at Visnagar, Palanpur, Amreli & Junagadh Successfully.

As a Project Management Consultant (PMC) for setting up of CFC’s Phase-II for Jewellery Industry at PAN India.

Successfully trained more than 31900 students (on campus), since its inception.

Imparted training to more than 3000 supervisors/managers of Diamond Manufacturing units in Surat, Mumbai, Ahmedabad etc. Trained more than 2000 Jewellers across the country.

Approximately, 335 Superintendent / Appraisers level Central Excise & Customs officials of Government of India too have been trained by IDI, on Diamond Grading, Gold Appraising & Rough Diamond sorting & its valuation aspects.

Under the Reskilling Scheme of GJEPC, IDI as a knowledge partner, trained more than 600 participants, through training programs designed for the New Entrants and Skill Up- gradation for the existing manpower, in the field of Diamond and Jewellery within the state of Gujarat.

Provided training to approximately 120 foreign nationals, particularly from the countries like Russia, Namibia, Tanzania, Congo, UK, China, USA, Canada, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Taiwan, Germany, Oman etc.
